Dear reader,
2019 is drawing to an end and many of us will be enjoying some hard-earned downtime at home or on holiday with friends and family. We would therefore like to take the opportunity to send this last communication of the year, comprising a bundle of well-wishes, information and pre-invitations.
Firstly, we want to thank you for your support and collaboration the past year. Schreuders Sport is only as strong as its partnerships, so keeping up good relations with you is one of our main focusses. To this effect, as a token of our appreciation and in the spirit of the season of giving, we will enclose a small gift with every order shipped out from our warehouse from now until the beginning of 2020.
Secondly, looking ahead, we would like to update you on a few aspects of our business (marketing) that will be different next year.
- From February 2020 onwards, we will hold a Schreuders Sport 'Clearance Sale' twice yearly (February and September) for an entire month. Keep an eye on your inbox for more information about the first edition.
- Our twice-yearly in-house trade fair, known as ‘Pre-Sale week’, held in March and October, will focus less heavily on discounts (this will shift to the Clearance Sale) and much more on business and collection development.
- With a view to further professionalisation, we have updated our general terms and conditions of sale and delivery. These adjusted conditions will be applied (and can therefore be viewed on our website) from 1 January 2020 onwards.
Our main showcase moment of the year will continue to be the end of January when we participate in two trade fairs in Germany: the Spielwarenmesse in Nuremberg – Europe’s most important toy fair - and the ISPO in Munich – indisputably the meet of the year for anyone doing business in sports. In 2020 the dates are as follows:
ISPO - January 26th to 29th (hall A5, stand 340) Tickets
Spielwarenmesse - January 29th to February 2nd (hall H7, stand B-49) Tickets

Furthermore, there will be an especially high number of international sporting events held this year, such as the Olympic Games and the European Championships for darts and football. Have you considered stocking up on supporter goods such as whistles, sport shirts or footballs in your country's colours?
