'Ice cold winter coming up'

The dutch will have start preparing for a colder winter than usual. The first actual cold spell is expected beginning of november. That's what weatherman Dennis Wilt of Meteoconsult predicted  on the dutch TV program EénVandaag last monday.
Also abroad cold spells are expected. Such as in Groot-Brittannië where temperatures of -23 graden are predicted. Wilt estimates that this could very well happen.
The weatherman does point out that this is a long-term prediction. So the further ahead, decreasingly trustworthy a prediction is.
