Introduction:

Schreuders Sport International B.V. (SSI) & Wintersport Leerdam B.V. in Leerdam is one of the biggest importers of sports products in Europe. For 80 years we have been trading in a wide range of goods, from outdoor to sledges, from rainclothing to inline skates.

With more than 5,000m² Cash & Carry, and 50,000m² warehouse space, SSI tries to deliver its products directly out of its own stock.

The company was founded in 1918 and has since grown into the international operating company that it is now. Quality is extremely important to us, and therefore we always have at least one employee in the Far East for quality control. SSI exports at this moment to other European countries such as Germany, Belgium, Denmark, Scandinavia, Iceland, Latvia, and also countries in other continents such as Surinam, Iran, and Curaçao.

PLEASE NOTE! Schreuders Sport International delivers exclusively to companies that satisfy certain lines of business, such as sport, camping, clothing, cycling and hardware shops, etc. Unfortunately we cannot deliver to individuals, clubs and associations.

You can find almost all of our products on our website. Schreuders Sport International & Wintersport Leerdam are both active in the summer, as well as in winterproducts. We offer you sport, camping, inline skates, games, summer clothing, watersports, bags, rucksacks, caps, skates, sledges, winter clothing, hats, scarves, gloves, and much much more!

Schreuders Sport International designs its own products. These are produced in China and subsequently exported to Europe. SSI offers products with, among others, the following registered brandnames: Nijdam ®, Abbey Camp ®, New Port ®, Starling ®, Canterbury Home & Garden ®, Waimea ®.

How can I become a client?

If you, like many before you, wish to become a client of SSI, please contact us.

We need the following for registration:

Registration by telephone:

• A certificate from your national Chamber of Commerce, i.e. Companies House
• Payment on delivery

Registration upon collection:

• A certificate from your national Chamber of Commerce, i.e. Companies House
• Valid ID (Passport, Driving Licence)
• Payment in advance

After registration, you get a (temporary) SSI-clientcard with which you can visit our showroom and come inside the Cash & Cash, where you can shop for products. It is also possible to talk with our sales person.

Once registered, you can place orders by telephone or fax to our professional sales team and the products will be delivered by courier. For more information please see our general conditions .

The History of SSI :

	1918	Started in rope, brush, stable necessities and fishing products through the firm: P.L. Schreuders, Hoogstraat 62, Leerdam.
	1949	Firm taken over by N.H. Emck, started selling electric / household products.
	1963	Started wholesale trade in ropework and plastic products.
	1967	Firm taken over by brothers P.J. Emck and R.B. Emck
	1968	Barge purchased (75 x 9.75metres) for storage purposes.
	1970	Placed 4 Romanian warehouses of 1,200m²
	1980	New building: Wintersport Leerdam B.V.
	1982	Retail sales handed over to P.J. Emck, wholesale trade continued by R.B. Emck
	1990	The partnership under the firm (V.O.F.) became a private limited company.
	1991	Sale of over 850,000 tracksuits
	2000	Sale of over 500,000 aluminium scooters
